- this skillTube is provided by Jeantje-

This module, the first in a row of reversing training classes beginning at the very basics but rapidly advancing to end with advanced and real "high-end-material", is for those who wish to know in detail how reversing is done and how one can reverse his/her own applications/programs in order to make a program achieve/execute desired actions. Reversing with Jeantje is specifically aimed at the non-coder: no coding capabilities are required. This module will first cover the use and the theoretical aspects of a debugger program (Ollydbg) to continue explaining assembler instructions that are further on used to effectively reverse an included small program written by the author herself. (ReverseMe.exe).

What you will learn:

- Theory behind reversing actions
- Theory behind debugging and debugging tools
- Step-by-step analysis of a real-world example with focus on Windows systems
- Possible reversing actions for a specific target

Target audience:

Anybody who is interested in reversing programs, ranging from the home user till advanced security engineers. Basically anyone how wants to know about reversing and how the bad guys exploit it, but more specifically also how you can use reversing to make your legally acquired programs do what you want them to do.

Requirements:

- A basic understanding of operating systems (in this case Windows)
- Understanding assembly would make it easier, but is NOT required as this series is specifically created with the non-coder in mind!
