A few months ago, a serious vulnerability in Adobe's Flash Player has been found. Looking at our web logs today, we see that many users are still running a vulnerable version. We recommend our visitors to check their flash player version as soon as possible and, if not current, to download the latest version on Adobe's website. |

This video focuses on drive by infections. Drive by infections are an easy way to compromise client systems on a larger scale. Web-attack kits such as mpack use similar techniques. Based on a real-world vulnerability, we show step by step how an attacker prepares a drive by infection attack. We discuss the ANI vulnerability, which is also exploited by mpack. |

Jeantje first video on skillTube.com! In this module, the first in a row of reversing training classes beginning at the very basics but rapidly advancing to end with advanced and real "high-end-material", is for those who wish to know in detail how reversing is done and how one can reverse his/her own applications/programs in order to make a program achieve/execute desired actions. Reversing with Jeantje is specifically aimed at the non-coder: no coding capabilities are required. This module will first cover the use and the theoretical aspects of a debugger program (Ollydbg) to continue explaining assembler instructions that are further on used to effectively reverse an included small program written by the author herself. (ReverseMe.exe). |

Jeantje is a 49-year old IT professional who is working in the security field for many years and who has a broad knowledge about reversing and counter measurements. She is the author of a well-known program to protect files against reversing. Jeantje is also the author of different materials and writings, freeware programs and tools. Jeantje knows what she is talking about. Proof is that she wrote a program on which she challenged the reversing community to break its protection. Although she mentioned most tricks it uses and provided registration keys for it herself ... it has not yet been broken since till date! |
